The staff at My Heritage was there to make everything go together without a flaw, and prizes were given away all night long, including an iPad. Loads of the top people / couples that do family history and genealogy were invited to be a part of this event, and they were ready to have fun. Lot's of Great Singers!!!
The video is all my personal footage, and it wasn't often I got away from the DJ Booth, but we made sure to get some good footage when we could. The Photos are from an incredible photographer named Terra Cooper. Her contact info is below, and if you would like to book her, she does all sorts of events. Definitely Book Her For Your Next Event! http://www.terracooper.com Terra Cooper Photography on Facebook

DJ Brady Mac rocked the music for over 6 hours, and peppered karaoke in when the Staff or Players wanted to sing. They pulled out their phones and got some sweet action rocking it (we didn't because it was not our place), and brought down the house with some classic soul music, as well as some new jams. "What Happens In Utah, Stays In Utah..." Am I Right? We do a lot of events every year, and this includes lighting at almost every place we go. We have found it easiest when the lighting is completely wireless. These are the new Battery Powered, completely Wireless Uplighting that just came into our arsenal, we can't wait to show them off to you! (We have 60-80 of them available if you need)
They have (6) 18 Watt, 6-In-1 LED Lights in every fixture. They can do the colors: Red, Blue, Green, White, Amber and Ultra-Violet. We can also combine those colors to get a variety of other shades, and control them wirelessly to make patterns, scenes, and chases to match the mood and music at the event. If you seriously want to know the difference between making your event really cool, or OFF THA CHAIN, you are going to want to check these out. Have a look, and give us a call for extremely competitive pricing.
Over the two days of the competition, there are literally hundreds of individual and group dance performances, ranging in a variety of styles, including contemporary, classical and even modern hip hop. The dancers come from all over the state and I believe even out-of-state to make their mark in one of the most premier dance competitions on the West Coast. It is sincerely one of the biggest turn outs for a competition that state of Utah has.
We provided almost everything there was in the production, including a massive Soundsystem for two stages, audio support with microphones with a large soundboard, trussing, stage lighting and LED lighting for both the group performance stage and the individual stage, and to top it all off, we brought out our massive 10' x 14' rear projection screens to frame in the main stage. Not only did we announce the dancers as they came to the stage, but we Emceed the Awards Ceremonies and DJ-ed the entire event. We had to have each competitor's song loaded and ready for their performances, and as we had breaks between heats, we would play Music Videos and Dance Videos to keep the crowd entertained. Having 1,000+ young adults and children dancing all at the same time was a lot of fun! We will be going back next year, and we are going to make it even bigger and better than ever! We want to thank the Utah Dance Review and Wylder Productions for making it such a great event.
Samsung was one of our main clients and they came to us late last year and asked if we would rock a karaoke party for them in their incredible Samsung Studio located at the base of Main Street. We had an incredible time providing entertainment for some of the best singers the festival had to offer. The stage and production was on point, and we Rocked It Hard!
They also contracted us to do something that Sundance has never seen before: A Private Karaoke Bus!!! We drove all up and down Main Street, giving locals the chance to win the bus for an hour! We had a lot of crews that got on and sang their hearts out! We are hoping that they make it a yearly attraction, & that we have hundreds of singers come rock next year too! #EmojiiAllAccess
!!! Happy Valentine's Day Everyone !!!For the past 5 years, we have been invited to the University of Utah by the LDS Institute of Religion to make their New Years absolutely incredible. With the staggering amount of Young Single Adults Wards in the area, once a year they invite all the wards together to bring in the New Year in a way that only Rock The Mic can provide. These are some of the U's best and brightest, and they invite everyone they know to come an join them at the party of the year! The Coolest Part: The Dance Is 100% Free!
We want to thank all those peeps who came to party hard, and specifically all of those helped us with the setup and tear down. It is really an incredible event that we get to be apart of, and we love being with the wonderful people at the University of Utah. We specifically want to think the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for for sponsoring the event every year, and look forward to New Year's Eve 2016!
