 Alright all you karaoke peeps. You may remember a couple months back that us, Guru’s Cafe, and Crave Games, the makers of the karaoke game SING4, sponsored a competition where we gave away a Wii gaming console and some other prizes. Well, we are down to the Semi-Finals and one of our very own singers could win $10,000 BUCKS !!!
Katy Edwards is in the Top 10 Semi-Finalists for the National Competition and it is all based on views and votes. We want to ask everyone to go online and vote for her. The grand Prize Winner also has the chance to perform as opening act at the VH! Save The Music Awards. She was the very first winner of the Applebee’s Idol competition we had back in 2009 and she has been Rockin’ The Mic ever since. Even though Katy was not our grand prize winner the evening of our competition, she is one fo the best singers we have in our area. Winning this National Competition really means something to all of us. Some may consider her an underdog, but the vocals that this girl possesses are some of the best we have ever heard.  So, we had a great turnout last week for our competition. We appreciate all who came, and we are so thankful to Crave Games for giving us the Sing4 Games to give away, and also the Nintendo Wii. If everything goes well, we may be having another competition. We are stoked to get the videos posted as soon as possible. We are looking to have them up by this weekend, at least some of the winners. We will have all the videos edited and up as soon as we can. Looking forward to seeing someone win $10,000!!!

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised when I got home to a nice little package at my doorstep. It was full of all the prizes that we will be giving away on Saturday, INCLUDING a Wii Gaming Console and a bunch of the copies of the SING4 game for Wii. We are stoked for the event on Saturday and look forward to having a great time with all the competitors. I know it is going to be a wonderful day!
