Super Bowl XLVI was pretty freaking sweet!

The Super Bowl was last night and I have to say that the game was phenomenal on both sides.  I am a long time Patriots fan, being that my mother is from Boston.  All the major league teams that I like are from Boston because we don't have very many growing up in Utah.  I do love the Jazz, but I love Boston teams all around.  

The Big Game last night was disheartening, knowing that the Patriots are the better team.  I could see that the heart of the Giants was much bigger.  Part of me felt disappointed that the game turned for the Giants, especially when there were so many plays that could have changed the game in either direction.  IT WAS SO CLOSE!!!  I do like the fact that it was nail-biting until the last play, and I love when duals come down to the last couple seconds.  It always is a testament to a true winner when it is close because it is just that much more that they gave to get the win in the end.  Giants fans, congrats on a great win.  I put as my Facebook status "Good Game Pats, Good Game Giants.  You are all winners, cause you're RICH!!!"  I think in the end, playing in the super bowl and getting a nice little bonus for that makes it awesome, in or lose.  If you aren't happy with the outcome as a player, just dry your tears and disappointment with millions of dollars!  Haha!  

Our Super Bowl tradition is to watch the game while eating Wingers Sticky Fingers, Potato Skins, and Wings.  I LOVE their sauce, and some new members of the party last night were very stoked to get initiated into the tradition.  We then later had Navaho Tacos and cake and ice cream to celebrate my wife's birthday.  All in all, despite the loss of my Pats, it was a wonderful Super Bowl.  

PS, the Halftime Show Was AMAZING!!!  Madonna was on her game, not the biggest fan of Nicki Minaj, but the VISUALS, LIGHT SHOW, and STAGING was seriously OFF THE HOOK!!!  I have been inspired to be a better visual person during performances.  What a gorgeous display that was.  Way to bring the heat Madonna!  She is definitely getting some money for album sales and such.  Cee-Lo and LMFAO on the stage as well.  SO SICK!!!
